The friendly staff showed me around and gave me sandals and a robe for the day.ĭue to booking a massage, I had access to the fitness center, locker rooms, and relaxation room (which is a very soothing room with a fireplace, comfy lounge chairs, and refreshments, which included hot teas, chocolate covered pretzels). It was very nice! I arrived and checked into the spa. I did not stay at the lodge but I visited for a day at the spa. As a guest of the spa, you’re also able to enjoy all of the other amenities such as steam, sauna, and jacuzzi. ![]() He has a very high stress job, so it was nice to see him so relaxed afterwards. ![]() While I enjoyed my session, my husband said it was “life changing” and he would like to do it weekly. We are both mildly claustrophobic but because the pod is quite spacious, this was not an issue. The pod has music and soft lights if you get too hot, you can open the lid on the pod and continue to float. After the shower, you make your way to the pod room for a 30 min (or longer if you prefer) float in salt water. The facilities are very nice and you’re supplied with a robe and locker for your belongings. You’re then given 10 min to shower/shampoo in order to cleanse the body of oils and hair products before entering the pod. The treatment starts with an overview of the pod room and instructions for use. My husband and I had been wanting to try float therapy and were excited when we heard about this new offering at Keystone Spa.
